We are delighted to hold our ceremony at the beautiful Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison. This is a wonderful place that has been dear to us from the beginning, and we hope that you enjoy its wonders as much as we do. Olbrich is well known in Madison for its beauty and atmosphere, and the gardens themselves are a must-see for visitors.

The ceremony will take place in the Bolz Conservatory, the large glass building seen from the street. This is essentially Olbrich’s interior area. We picked this location for its more intimate vibe, and it will allow everybody to enjoy the wedding in nature without any concern for unpredictable weather.

(Plus, let’s be real: It’s a botanical garden. Can you imagine how much easier it is knowing we didn’t have to think about the decor? 😎)

Important things to note:

  • The conservatory is a greenhouse. Expect a little bit of humidity!

  • There is no seating at the ceremony (like we said, it’s intimate).

  • If the two bullet points above cause you any anxiety, we have good news: We promise, the ceremony won’t be long. 🙃

  • Parking is free.

The gardens will be closed after the ceremony, so we highly encourage you to explore beforehand if you find yourself with some free time before the festivities begin.

Cento Italian Restaurant

Located within walking distance of the AC Hotel, on the opposite side of the Capitol Square. Approximately a 10 minute drive from Olbrich Botanical Gardens.

Parking is available in nearby city parking ramps (paid).

Our reception is taking place at Cento, one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Madison. Reserved just for us and our guests, the semi-private dining room offers a private bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, and original stained glass, brick, and mosaic tiles from the building’s original construction in 1908. It’s the perfect atmosphere to enjoy dinner and celebrate with everyone.

Expect a delicious family-style meal along with selections of wine, beer, specialty cocktails, and spirit-free beverages. We’ve curated the final menu from a selection of Cento’s offerings, and we’re excited to share the final menu as we get closer to the event.

For dessert, expect to leave very happy. There’s a reason we advertised “cake” a few times in the invitations you received.

If you have any dietary restrictions of any kind, please let us know as soon as possible!

Timing

The reserved area is open to wedding guests as early as 6:30 PM. Appetizers and drinks will be available.

Dinner will begin at 7:30 PM.
